How do I know that I know?
Sunday, October 31, 10AM at Wendler Middle School
Richard Howe, PhD, Provost and Norman L. Geisler Chair of Christian Apologetics at Southern Evangelical Seminary, will address the topic of knowledge and the relationship between faith and reason.
There are many things that people claim to know. As Christians, we know God through the saving work of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6; John 17:3). Some people mistakenly think they know God does not exist. Exactly what do people mean when they say they know something? Is seeing always believing? Does science have exclusive access to knowledge? What about faith? Is it against reason and opposed to knowledge? How do I know that I know? In this message, we will explore what the Bible says about knowledge and how Christians throughout our history have understood the relationship of faith and reason.
